Ryan Riley BEM is an award-winning Taste and Flavour expert and broadcaster, known for his bold, flavour-led cooking. He has been interviewed over 500 times across TV, radio and print.

Ryan is the founder of the award-winning Life Kitchen and Life Kitchen Cookery School, delivering free cookery classes to people living with cancer across the UK and Europe. In recognition of his pioneering work supporting people affected by taste loss, he was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the 2026 New Year Honours.

A best-selling author of five cookbooks, including Life Kitchen, Ryan is also a BBC Radio presenter, hosting Ryan’s Foodie Fridays, and a confident, engaging presence on screen and on stage.
